If you love Halloween, love scaring people, and love to have fun—this is the perfect part-time job for you!
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- All employees are required to work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from September 24 through October 31.
- You must attend orientation and all 3 auditions. The orientation and auditions are non-paid time.
Hiring begins in July with orientation and auditions taking place in August and September. These jobs are demanding, and FUN. Many people return year after year to join our “Scream Team!”
All employees must complete the attached application—even if you worked at Frightland in the past. The management team will review all applications. If your application is accepted, you will be notified either by phone or email. Please only submit one application, and DO NOT call if you are not notified that your application was accepted.
No job is too small. Every person at this haunt is very important to us. If this sounds like the opportunity you just cannot pass up, then complete the attached application and email it back to us at frightmom@comcast.net.
If you have any questions, call 302-838-0256 and leave a message.
No acting experience is necessary, but the job requires a desire for each employee to do his or her best. Acting in a haunted house can be both fun and rewarding. The power you have over people looking to be frightened can be extremely exhilarating. We look for actors that can show up on time, work weekends, have transportation to and from work, and most importantly have some love of the macabre. If you have always wanted to dress up in costume, be someone else, run around scaring the daylights out of people, AND be rewarded for doing it, then this is the job for you. Scream Team leaders will provide training, costumes, and make-up.
Our season runs from September 24 through October 31. You are also required to attend orientation and all 3 auditions and final rehearsal.
Keep in mind this job is not for everyone. It is not easy as it sounds. However, if you are into scaring people in a fun environment, you can make it through the season.
If you are interviewing for an acting position:
You will need to bring to your interview your photo ID and social security card.
Auditions will be held for acting positions only. You do not need to bring anything with you. You do not have to prepare a monologue. Just come, have fun, and give us your best scream! No experience is necessary!
You are required to attend orientation and all 3 auditions and final rehearsal!
If you are interviewing for a tractor driving position:
Applications are being accepted for tractor drivers. You will need to bring to your interview a copy of your driving record along with your driver’s license and social security card. You will also be required to pass a driving test that will be administered by one of our experience drivers.
All tractors drivers are required to attend all 3 auditions and final rehearsal.
If you are interviewing for an event staff (non-acting) position:
Applications are being accepted for the following event staff positions:
-
wagon riders
-
ticket handlers

Although you will not be asked to audition, these positions require fun, energetic individuals. You will need to bring to your interview your photo ID and social security card. Lots of energy is required, but no experience is necessary!
You will be required to attend the 3 auditions and final rehearsal.
Interviews will be held during the month of July.
The management team will review all applications. If your application is accepted, you will be notified either by phone or email with interview date and time. Interviews will be held at Frightland.
